Identifying and Managing STIs Online

There are a broad range of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) sometimes called sexually transmitted diseases (STD's) and every one of them are handled in distinct ways, so it is crucial to see which infection you could have. A Few of the more frequently seen STI’s include HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Syphilis, Gonorrhea and Chlamydia.
Some STIs in fact exhibit no signs, which sometimes lead people to believe they do not have an infection (called asymptomatic). Even if someone does not have symptoms, they can still spread the STD to their partner. Alternatively, a few STIs can sometimes be incredibly uncomfortable. Men and women get the same sexually transmitted infections but can result in vastly different symptoms in men and women.

How does this work?

You can make an appointment with Marian Stokes, NP, who will perform a thorough evaluation and advice you regarding STD testing. If indicated, she will set up testing at a lab located close to you. After testing, Marian can advise you further about your sexually transmitted disease (if any are confirmed) and related issues. Marian can provide more information about STD’s and answer any questions you may have. Most sexually transmitted diseases require an in-person examination by your PCP. If you do not have a PCP our healthcare provider will help you find a local one. Due to legal regulations, we are not able to treat acute sexually transmitted diseases in men or women, but we can give recommendations for the subsequent step(s) in the treatment process.

What Clients Say

“I went from 304 pounds to 260 pounds since April 15th, 2018. It is now December. Hope to lose at least another 60 pounds or more. Works great for me!”

DD

“I was put on Byetta about two years ago, it had helped lower my blood sugar as well as my A1C level, not to mention it's helped me lose a lot of weight.”

SB

“I've been on it for two full months.I started with 5mg for a month then 10mg for the second month. I'm starting my 2nd 10mg pen and my third month. I've experienced some loose stools during the first two weeks then back to normal. I've had no other adverse effects and my sugar has gone down from the 230 range to the 150 range and hopefully still dropping. My weight has gone from 365 to 340. I noticed that I don't want to eat as much, the effect is very subtle but I've learned to recognize it and I just push away from the table. So far everything's thumbs up.”

Chenzo

“After starting the Byetta (Exenatide) it was about 3 weeks and I started to notice weight loss. I gradually lost my desire to eat sweets all the time, and started staying awake more and more”

Tippy

“I only had one thing that I wasn't pleased with and that was nausea, it was very intense for about 2 weeks then it subsided. It was a great weight loss. I find the advantages of the drug well worth the side effects. I feel that I have more control over my blood sugar than I have in ten years!! I wish I was aware of it sooner. Just not knowing what my high readings have done to some of my vital organs is scary. I feel now that I'm on the right track and I finally have peace of mind about my health.”

Janelle

“I’ve been on it for 1 week and have lost 4LBS. no sickness, sugars are 1/2 what they were. injections hurt far less than lancets! miracle drug for my type 2. appetite is 1/4th what used to be. I'm looking forward to my next A1c.”
